Finance Supervisor

  3. Must have a background in finances with a good understanding of debits and credits.
  4. Must have good communication skills and work well with other people.

To assist in the day to day financial tracking of the Andrew Wommack Ministries – Europe and Charis Bible College, providing accurate and timely financial figures for the management of the Ministry


  1. Ensure tracking of all finances for AWME/Charis/World Outreach
  2. Provide assistance for each Charis location in the UK, at the direction of their supervisor.
  3. Ensure that all information is provided for reporting by the deadlines given, and information is accurate.
  4. Follow all policies and procedures established by World Outreach concerning financial record keeping and reporting.
  5. Ensure transparency with their supervisor, keeping them aware of all major changes in finances.

  1. Prepare, enter and track all financial transactions into the ministry system(s) within the AWME/Charis/World Outreach.
  2. Ensure that all information is accurate and provided by the deadlines established by their supervisor.
  3. Assist World Outreach and Charis locations with tracking of finances, at the direction for their supervisor.
  4. Raise sales invoices.
  5. Process invoices for WO Translations department.
  6. Process invoices for student fees, statements and chase students for fees, liaising with their supervisor and college directors.
  7. Check purchase invoices on receipt against delivery notes.
  8. Maintain purchase ledger supplier records on ministry system(s).
  9. Check bank statements and process all transactions listed, including standing orders, payments received, direct debit payments, credit notes and returned payments, passing on details of single payments to Order & Partner Services, dealing with receipts and transfers.
  10. Manage petty cash float.
  11. Bank all sterling and foreign money or cheques.
  12. Reconcile all AWME/Charis bank and petty cash accounts.
  13. Organise travel money as required by the AWME Managing Director and/or Finance Manager.
  14. Make payments on behalf of AWME, World Outreach and Charis, using cash, cheque, PayPal, direct bank transfers, international bank transfers or any other method as required.
  15. Handle incoming post and deal with it accordingly.
  16. Prioritise work and liaise with other relevant departments.
  17. File all financial paperwork.
  18. Submit Gift Aid claim to the HMRC on a monthly basis.
  19. Adjust accounts for prepayment and accruals monthly.
  20. Keep financial matters confidential at all times.
  21. Adhere to insurance, legal, health and safety obligations etc.
  22. Follow all policies and procedures established by World Outreach that pertain to financial management.
  23. Be familiar with all financial reporting, understanding what is required in reporting.

  • Maintain a professional relationship with each of their colleagues while operating within the scope of their positions.
  • Attend meetings, training programmes, presentations, conferences and social events on behalf of AWME as required and represent the Ministry in line with the vision and mission of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.
  • Comply with all AWME Health & Safety procedures.
  • Comply with all AWME Data Protection procedures.
  • Adhere to the Statement of Faith, Statement of Godly Living and to the Ethos Statement of AWME/Charis.

  2. Must have completed at least two years of training at a recognised Charis Bible College Campus. Charis third year and DTP completers are preferable.
  3. Must have a background in administration with at least one year of experience.
  4. Must have good computer skills and be familiar with Office 365 or have the capacity to learn.
  5. Must have excellent people skills to oversee people and provide an atmosphere of growth and development for staff and students.

  1. To promote and provide support for all Distance Education (Correspondence, Online and eCharis) students within UK and Europe.
  2. This support includes communication, test tracking, ministry, and follow-up surveys.
  3. To coordinate the Charis Bible College UK Distance Education department with oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Charis UK Distance Education students and to provide support to students utilising Correspondence, Online and eCharis platforms.

  1. Follow all the policies and procedures established by the Ministry, especially those relevant to Charis Bible College UK Distance Education.
  2. Promote the Charis Bible College UK Distance Education courses for those located in areas within UK and Europe where it would not be possible for people to come to a Charis campus.
  3. Communicate with all Charis Bible College UK Distance Education students on a regular and systematic basis as required.
  4. Track the progress of Distance Education students, maintaining statistics on each student.

  1. Follow all policies and procedures established by the Ministry and communicated by their line manager.
  2. Work with the Charis UK Marketing Coordinator to promote the Charis Bible College UK Distance Education courses.
  3. Deal with general enquiries and correspondence by phone, post, and email by receiving phone calls, opening, sorting, and responding to letters/emails.
  4. Take payments for all Charis Bible College UK Distance Education courses/modules and send order forms to DOS, communicate with Finance where needed.
  5. Keep Dimensions up to date with student information, create accounts for new starters.
  6. Contact each Charis Bible College UK Distance Education course student consistently, keeping them appraised of their progress and next steps.
    1. This is to include informing them of continuing onto second and third year courses at all UK and Europe campus locations.
  7. Consistently communicate with their line of accountability, keeping them informed of student progress and feedback.
  8. Monitor and record Charis Bible College UK Distance Education student scores, updating the database with all changes, i.e. completing students, inactive students, etc.
  9. Mark and grade student test papers received through the post/delivered by hand and supervise tests processed using the LMS system.
  10. Prepare the marked and graded test papers, including encouraging messages, for posting back to the relevant student.
  11. Liaise with volunteers who will assist with the marking and grading of test papers, as well as encouraging students.
  12. Be the first point of call for Charis Bible College UK Distance Education students where they have questions or require personal support, passing them on to the Distance Education Supervisor as appropriate.
  13. Be willing to take time to listen, encourage and pray with the students.
  14. Keep up to date with stock levels and assist in putting through orders.
  15. Create monthly reports on Correspondence course purchases, be aware of new students; add all relevant information to the Charis Bible College UK Distance Education database.
  16. Provide students with a Charis Bible College UK Distance Education student lanyard (grey).
  17. Assist with Charis Bible College UK Distance Education stand taking enquiries during AWME & Charis Walsall events and follow up with these.
  18. Assist with providing stats when needed.
  19. Answer student queries regarding tests, teaching, and finances.
  20. Lead monthly Discipleship Evangelism Zoom groups.
  21. Keep accurate student records and maintain student database on personal details, grades, and mailing lists in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
  22. Run Active Campaign and call-backs to people interested in Charis Bible College UK Distance Education courses.
  23. Assist in producing Distance Education certificates.
  24. Welcome and see to visitors enquiring about Charis Bible College UK Distance Education courses when required.

  1. Receive phone calls from the public, and work to answer all requests, including general information and prayer requests.
  2. Complete all reporting established by World Outreach and Andrew Wommack Ministries in a  in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Complete all departmental administrative duties as required.
  4. Ensure all policies and procedures established by World Outreach are followed.
  5. Ensure clarity in communication to their line of accountability and colleagues.

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for the public, answering any questions concerning the ministry, products, and providing prayer for all in need.
